Marketing Information Consent

This consent is optional. Refusing it does not restrict your access to the core Service.

Note: Functional notifications — for example, when a chat reply is ready, when your daily conversation cap resets, or when an account-related event affects you — are sent regardless of this consent. This consent only covers marketing-type push notifications: re-engagement reminders, event announcements, and promotional messages from Bangguseok Company.

Note: Collection of your Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token itself is required to operate the notification feature (so functional notifications can reach your device at all) and is covered as a required processing item in the Privacy Policy. This consent is limited to using that token to deliver marketing-type push notifications.

1. Purpose of Consent

Sending re-engagement reminders, event announcements, and promotional messages via push notification so members can hear about updates, special days, and offers from Bangguseok Company.

2. Items Collected and Used

With this consent, we additionally use:

• Use of your push notification token for marketing categories: The Firebase Cloud Messaging token (collected per the Privacy Policy) is additionally used to deliver marketing-type pushes. The token itself is not collected by this consent; only the marketing use of it is.
• Marketing-consent state: Your agreement flag and the timestamp at which you granted it.

Chat history, saju data, and 7-day fortune exam data are not used for marketing targeting under this consent. They are governed by separate consents (AI Training Data Consent, Service Improvement Data Consent).

3. Retention and Use Period

The marketing-consent state above is retained until you withdraw consent. Upon withdrawal, the Company will immediately stop using your push notification token to deliver marketing-type pushes; the token itself is retained for functional notifications until you turn off notifications entirely (per the Privacy Policy).

4. Right to Refuse and Effect of Refusal

1. This consent is optional, and you may refuse.
2. Refusal means you will not receive marketing push notifications. Functional notifications (chat reply ready, daily cap reset, account-related alerts) continue to work normally. Core services — account creation, saju interpretation, AI chatbot, 7-day fortune exam — remain fully available regardless of your choice.

5. How to Withdraw

You may withdraw consent at any time by either of the following:

• Toggle off Settings > Notification Settings > Marketing notifications within the app.
• Email a withdrawal request to dev@bangguseok.co.kr.
